The New Brunswick Sport Fishing Association wishes to elevate the sport of bass fishing in our province while at the same time promoting Catch and Release to increase conservation of our resource for future anglers to enjoy. Through our Association we hope to introduce many to the sport of bass angling and ultimately to tournament angling. We are collaborating with private and government agencies to help fund studies on smallmouth bass in our waterways, standardizing tournament rules to increase boater/angler safety and working to improve fish handling methods to minimize fish mortality at tournament events. With the help of our sponsors, the dedication of countless volunteers/members and local community groups, the sport of bass angling with in the province continues to grow. The growth in the sport increases benefits for our members and the communities where our events are held.
