Sept 19/20th - 2009 Championship

Congratulations go out to Andrew Oliver and Mike Brennan as they clinched the unlimited series championship with a two day sack of fish weighing 29.80 lbs. Following in second was Brian Naugle and Bryan Naugle with 26.50 lbs, while Laurie Dunham and Terry Taylor took third with 24.90 lbs. Day 1 lunker went to Henry Arsenault and Ray McFarlane with a 4.35 lb toad that also earned them "Lunker of the Year" honors. Day two lunker went to Rick Greene and Rick Greene Jr. with a 3.90 lbér.
In the limited series it was Brad Donovan and Joel Vautour that claimed the throne with a two day bag weighing 22.45 lbs. Nipping very closely at their heels was Joe Poirier and Joyce Williams with 22.15 lbs while Darren Hewey and Ron Hewey took third with 21.80 lbs. Day one lunker went to Donovan and Vautour with a 3.55 lbér while day two was taken by Poirier and Williams with a 4.20 lb beauty. Great way to end a season.

Sept 12th - Lake Utopia - Unlimited Series
Congratulations go out to Dennis Wilson and Mark Alward as they grab their second win of the season with a 10.75 lb bag of smallies. Second place went to Ben and Jon Stokdijk with 9.10 lbs while Rob and Robert Sheils took third with 9.02 lbs. The Stokdijk brothers also claimed the lunker prize with a 3.05 lbér. Great fishing guys on a tough body of water.

Sept 5th-6th - Woodstock - Unlimited Series

Congratulations go out to John Lockhart and Ron Urquhart as they take their most impressive third win of the 2009 season with a two day 29.25 lb bag of smallies. Following in second was day one leaders Jeff Shaw and Clark Rayner with 27.60 lbs , while Andrew Oliver and Mike Brennan took third with 27.35 lbs. Oliver and Brennan also took day one lunker honors with a 3.90 lbér, while Louis Doiron and Jeremy Matheson took the tournament lunker with a 4.25 lb hawg, which set the mark to beat for lunker of the year. Great job guys. The TOTY race is heating up.

August 29th - 30th - Oromocto - Limited Series
Congratulations go out to Mike Rickett and Jeff Prosser as they grab their second win of the season in the first ever two day limited series event. They boasted a two day winning weight of 24.95 lbs. In second was "Team of the Year"contenders Steve Forgey and Dean Jones with 24.55 lbs , while Jason Gogan and Brent Palmer took third with 22.00 lbs. Forgey and Jones also claimed tournament lunker with a 3.65 lbér , while Rickett and Prosser took Day 2 lunker with a 3.15 lbér.

August 16th - Oromocto - Unlimited Series

Congratulations go out to Dennis Wilson and Mark Alward as they eke out their first win of the season with a 13.47 lb bag of smallies. Following close in second was Laurie Dunham and Terry Taylor with 13.12 while Rob and Robert Sheils took third with 12.15 lbs. The lunker was claimed by Dave Matheson and Alan Wright with a 3.65 lb beauty. Great fishing folks.

Congrats go out to Darren and Ron Hewey who topped the field with a weight of 13.70 lbs. Second place was claimed by Joe Poirier and Joyce Williams with 11.80 lbs, while Blair and Robert Robichaud took third with 11.55 lbs. The Robichauds also caught the lunker which weighed 3.15 lbs. Rain, snow, or high winds were NOT present as Dean Jones and Jeff Rathburn claimed first blood in the limited series season opener at Lake Utopia. The duo topped the field with a 12.35 lb bag of smallies. Second place went to Darren and Ron Hewey with 11.80 lbs , while Tom and BJ Barrett clinched third with 10.70 lbs.
